GOAT FARM - FADI

Today we have Fadi Sabbouh's goats from Lebanon to greet you! Fadi made the decision to relocate to a new location close to Jbeil city, where he anticipates higher demand than the previous spot in North Lebanon. They do currently have 12 goats "on staff" which are blessedly able to cover the farm expenses! Please keep Fadi, his family, and all our Lebanese families in your prayers!

We are delighted to announce, just before Christmas, that, thanks once again to all our supporters, both from Giving Tuesday and regular donations, we are able to help start new family businesses in Lebanon. The situation in that beautiful country is absolutely dire, with most of the banks failing, incomes dropping and unemployment rising. Food and medicine is in short supply. Nasarean's Project Jonah, to help Christian families in the Middle East survive and thrive, is now helping several families - and in fact, extended families - and our two new businesses will do the same.
...
Our second business is a Goat Farm, run by Fadi Sabbouh, a married man and father of a one year old girl. He is working in collaboration with a friend - so two families will be helped. Fadi will be buying a herd of goats to produce milk, dairy products (including the famous Labneh). This business has the potential to keep several families and employees.

Once again, in the middle of terrible struggles, the families you are helping to start businesses are sending us positive reports. Tarek Kheir, from Douma in North Lebanon, who is starting a cheese and dairy business, bought his second cow and some machines (pictured) to milk and to produce Ghee from the milk. Fadi Sabbouh, and his young family have ordered their herd of goats, from which they will also produce cheese and other products. Fadi’s wife told our collaborator in Beirut, that your generous support has made the difference between the family wanting to leave Lebanon, and now deciding to stay - that is the very essence of our “Project Jonah” - helping Christian families stay in their native lands and not just survive, but thrive!
