Give to Project JonahWe just received an update on the family businesses that you have supported in the Iraqi towns of Bartella and Qaraqosh (which Pope Francis will visit in a few days). Through Project Jonah, helping families stay in their country and not live on charity but become entrepreneurs, all the businesses are doing well, despite suffering from the problems associated with Covid. Cake shop, electrical shop, taxi business and women’s boutique, and the new coffee shop: all started through generous donations to Nasarean.org – thank you! 2/23/21 Once again through your generosity we have been able to give hope and a future to a family of Iraqi Christians! Through our Project Jonah campaign, helping Iraqi families start small businesses, Rafal Jameel has started “Lady Boutique” in the town of Bartella on the Nineveh Plain. It is particularly important to help Christians in Bartella: not only were they all driven out by ISIS, but now the families who have returned face intimidation and threats from the Shia militias.
