Give to Project JonahWe have a very special and moving new business to tell you about this week – a nail salon in the home of a woman in Ankawa, Iraq. Another of the women-run businesses we support through your generosity. Zina is a convert from Islam, who was recently baptised into the Catholic faith. She is from an area of Iraq where she would certainly be killed for her conversion to Christ. She is a single mother, having left her Muslim husband who threatened her with death because of her conversion. Asked by our coordinator in Iraq if she was afraid, she responded beautifully, “now I have Jesus, I don’t care if I die!” Would that we all had her faith! Once more, Nasarean is not only keeping Christians in their native lands and running businesses, but giving life and hope to converts from Islam.
