Give to Project JonahWe have some new pics of Milad’s cafeteria in Qaraqosh – one of our largest businesses. It is run by 3 families (who have 12 family members between them) plus 4 employees and their families! A blessing to the community as you can see and another business that is lucky to have survived the fire last fall unscathed. Thank you for your continued support for them and your prayers for all our brethren! 9/16/24 We just received an update on the family businesses that you have supported in the Iraqi towns of Bartella and Qaraqosh (which Pope Francis will visit in a few days). Through Project Jonah, helping families stay in their country and not live on charity but become entrepreneurs, all the businesses are doing well, despite suffering from the problems associated with Covid. Cake shop, electrical shop, taxi business and women’s boutique, and the new coffee shop: all started through generous donations to Nasarean.org – thank you! 2/21/23 More encouraging news from Iraq through your help! We received pictures and news of new businesses. In Qaraqosh, there is a new Coffee shop or Cafeteria, as it is called, owned by Melad Namrud – you can see the before and after pictures. Another two families building a future in Iraq after the horrors of ISIS through your support of Nasarean – staying, not migrating, a sign of hope for the Christian population! 8/15/22
