Blacksmith – Feras

A beautiful example of what we are doing, is the latest family business we have just helped this week – our third Christian business in the city of Mosul, which is the city of Nineveh, where Jonah the prophet preached. Mosul was the capital of ISIS, falling to them in June, 2014. Few Christians have returned, which is why this simple business is so important. In the pictures you will see Feras Yehia in his blacksmith’s workshop in Mosul. Small and simple it may be – a garage or storefront facility, but this business will keep Feras and his six family members. Through your generosity, a Christian and his family have returned to Mosul with courage and hope – a true way to celebrate the defeat of ISIS. We are grateful for all who have helped in the past, and ask for your generosity in the future to help us keep Christianity alive in the places where it was born.
