Meet Nawar Najeeb Zaki – who you helped secure a bathroom appliance/fixture store and showroom. Fr. Ben met his assistant when he visited the shop in December of 2021. The business is still successfully running a year and a half later. Thank you for your continued support for people like Nawar who just need a little help to be able to stay in their homes! 5/30/23 Continuing to update you with some of the successful businesses that Nasarean has supported in Iraq. Qaraqosh, Iraq’s largest Christian community, was devastated during its three year occupation by ISIS. Now menaced by the Shia militias that surround the area, Christians are trying to rebuild their lives. Your support, through Nasarean, has enabled Nawar Najeeb Zaki to open a bathroom appliance store (pic is with his assistant). 1/17/22
