With this shrine, the 1st in Central Asia, we are now in 4 countries. Bishop Schneider spoke movingly in his homily of the terrible persecution Christians endured under communism and warned the West of the dangers of increasing persecution. The Archbishop Peta gave Fr. Ben an image of ‘Our Lady of the Steppes,’ the Kazakh Madonna & Child. We are presently working on 3 more shrines – in 3 different countries!
