Looking at the times we live in, we can echo the words of Charles Dickens, “it was the best of times, it was the worst of times.” St. Augustine amusingly preached back in the 5th century about our tendency to think the past was always better. All time is in the hands of God. We must cling to Jesus to keep us afloat whatever the times, good or bad.
