Father Ben divides his time between the US, UK and the Middle East, speaking, preaching and writing, trying to focus attention on the plight of persecuted Christians around the world. He visits war-torn Iraq, Syria and Lebanon where Nasarean.org is now supporting a number of family businesses.

Advocacy

Advocacy

Advocacy is the principal work of Fr. Ben’s priestly ministry and includes, among many things – writing, media, speaking - educating and informing audiences about the widespread assault on Christians which is, according to Pope Francis, worse than at any time since the first centuries of the Church.

The reason I give to Nasarean is because I believe in the mission. Being a Christian in the USA, I may have to tolerate some very mild harassment or a few jokes for my faith. But by and large my life is lived in relative peace and I am protected from discrimination or religious persecution. But these believers that Nasarean is serving are living under constant threat and persecution for their faith. How can I call myself a follower of Christ if I simply enrich myself while my brothers and sisters face continuous adversity and hardship? I am honored to be able to help these brave Christians who are truly living out there faith in spite of the cost!
