As I recommend books once in a while, I'm highlighting the fine book by Fr. Juan Velez, Holiness in a Secular Age, The Witness of Cardinal Newman. The saint points out that worship is the purpose of attending church - so the unholy will, naturally or unnaturally, dislike the experience. Psalm 96 tells us to worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness - a suitable mediation for our week!
