One of our 2 new ventures in Lebanon: Lemon Tree Rabbits! The Hourani family were trying to run a rabbit farm from their house but were in dire need of being able to expand production as demand was outstripping them. We said we could help :) They will pursue farmland and certification to offer rabbit meat, organic eggs (they want to have 50 chickens), and grow their own rabbit food to decrease costs. One of the most beautiful things they said in their request for funding was that not only did they want to be able to provide nutritious meat for struggling families (they already donate to area social workers), but they want to create a thriving business their children will want to continue running so "they too decide to stay in Lebanon no matter what happens." This is exactly what Nasarean wants to see happen. So thank YOU for helping them achieve this dream!
