Qaraqosh businesses update from Iraq trip

Continuing to update you with some of the successful businesses that Nasarean has supported in Iraq, here are two pictures of brand new businesses that we have helped get off the ground in the city of Qaraqosh on the Nineveh Plain. Qaraqosh, Iraq’s largest Christian community, was devastated during its three year occupation by ISIS. Now menaced by the Shia militias that surround the area, Christians are trying to rebuild their lives. Your support, through Nasarean, has enabled Raad Habeeb to open a clothing store in the market area and Nawad Najeeb to open a bathroom store (pic includes his assistant). Once again, one business at a time, we are helping through “Project Jonah,” Iraqi Christian families not just survive, but thrive - and stay in their native land.
