Once again, thanks to your generosity, we have been able to help a family start a small business in Damascus, Syria. Through our collaboration with Archbishop Nicolas, the Melkite bishop in Damascus, we are helping Mr and Mrs Elie Doummar start a small candle-making business, both for the needs of the Church and home. The situation in Syria is extremely bad, with shortages of food, medicine and gas, due to the international sanctions. As always, it is the ordinary people who suffer. Your gifts are keeping another family in their home and giving them hope for the future! We hope to have news of another small business soon.
