Staying with friends who have dogs, alerts me to the need, with one of them, for a leash or muzzle. Ralph Martin in his new book describes the risk of “leashing the Gospel.” Manipulating or controlling the proclamation of the Faith is always a feature of totalitarian regimes. We must be on the alert for ways those in power might try to muzzle or leash the Good News which always sets you free!
