As we move into the last part of Advent we can look at the person of St. Joseph as a guide and help. Pope Francis has just called a special “Year of St. Joseph” to focus on his important role in our lives. Joseph is a true model of faithful fatherhood, in a world where fatherhood is in crisis. He is a man of action, listening to the voice of God in confusion and darkness - a great role model of trust without fully understanding. We need to turn to St. Joseph more than ever!
