At baptism, we are all given vocations as priest, prophet, and king. A prophet - every baptized Christian - is not some magician or soothsayer but rather one who "seeing the evils of the day in a clear light, speaks in the name of God."
Honoring our prophetic vocation does not always require words - Christians can "'speak prophetically' in their family lives, their profession, with their vote, and by they way live in the world." We are called to be prophets especially during this time of confusion.
