During this trip, as it was Fr. Ben's 9th visit to Erbil and he's never done a “touristy” thing - it was about time to visit the Citadel in between visiting all our brethren we are helping. He also visited with the always positive Chaldean Archbishop of Erbil, Bashar Warda yesterday. Lastly, checked in with dear Sister Ban Madleen of the Dominican Sisters in Quaraqosh - he's known Sister Ban since 2015 - she is now Principal of an Elementary (Primary) school. Some might remember Sister was twice denied a visa to visit her sister in Britain for a month.
