The writer Douglas Murray, an agnostic, was recently interviewed, describing the move of some of his friends towards Catholicism. He made the telling point that they were not attracted to a “watered down” version of the Faith. As our world becomes more controlled, forgets God and becomes more lonely, people will need the “treasures both old and new” of the Gospel. Only then will the tide of faith begin to flow back.
